Wednesdays at the Cathedral: Bishop Slattery on April 6

WatC April 6 Bp Slattery

Wednesdays at the Cathedral continues on April 6 with an affordable dinner at 5:30 and all programs beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Adult Education class welcomes Most Rev. Edward J. Slattery, Bishop of Tulsa. This is a great opportunity to interact with our bishop as he looks back at over two decades of being the shepherd of the Diocese of Tulsa, and as he prepares to celebrate 50 years as a priest. Bishop Slattery is back from Rome, Italy to take part in the ordination of Archbishop Peter Wells, former Cathedral associate pastor.

The Youth Group will play Knockerball, the game where participants climb inside huge beach balls and roll around on an indoor soccer field. There is a games area with basketball and other sports available for everyone to use for free. Knockerball costs $5. Everyone must have a Knocker Ball Activity Waiver completed. We will meet from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the PPAC, the Perfect Practice Athletic Club, 4950 S. Sheridan Rd.

RCIA and the children’s Religious Education classes will continue.
