Youth Trip to Frontier City – July 6, 2016

Frontier CityYouth from incoming 6th grade to graduated 12th grade are invited to join with youth from around Tulsa on a trip to Frontier City in Oklahoma City.

In order to go please get your  money or check payable to St. Benedict’s by July 1, 2016.  Adults, Chaperones are Needed! 

The following forms will also need to be filled out and on file with the diocese.These can be dropped off along with the check or money at the Cathedral, marked ATTN Trish Spoerl.


We will meet at the Church of St. Benedict at 8:00 a.m. You will check-in in McGuire Hall, go to the 8:30 a.m. daily Mass at St. Benedict’s, then load the buses for OKC. Return to the St. Benedict’s parking lot by midnight, travel will be by Broken Arrow School buses. Stops will be made at McDonald’s on the way to the park and on the way home from the park.

  • Money for McDonald’s and food/drinks in the park (about $25)
  • Pillow/blanket/snacks for the bus ride if you wish
  • Swimsuit if you want to go to the Wild West Water Works area (girls, one piece suits or a dark t-shirt over a two piece suit please)
  • Extra socks/clothes in case you get wet on water rides (we will have a check-in spot where you can leave a backpack with extra clothes or other belongings)
  • Flip flops or water shoes (for water rides) AND shoes besides flip flops some rides require no flip flops, and there will be a lot of walking around the park. If you have waterproof shoes such as Teva’s Chaco’s these will work as well.
