Night Light Tulsa – Thursday, May 17th

Night Light TulsaPlease join fellow parishioners for a hands-on night of service to the homeless and working poor of Downtown Tulsa.

With the assistance of many volunteers, Night Light Tulsa provides clothing and essential personal items for an average of 250-300 individuals and serves an average of 440 hamburgers every Thursday evening under the bridge at the intersection of Maybelle and Brady. As a volunteer you will serve in one of many areas including handing out a warm meal, clothing, toiletries or books. There is also a foot washing station, prayer station, a kids zone, and more. Through these stations, our hope is that our guests will know they are important and loved. We know that you will find yourself humbled and changed as lines are erased and people connect.

When:   Thursday, May 17,  6:30 – 9:30 pm.

The evening agenda begins with a required orientation. Service is from 7 :00 – 9:00 pm. The evening ends with tear down of tables, lighting and general clean-up.

Where: Meet under the bridge at Maybelle and Brady  (202 N. Maybelle). Park on the street along Archer and Maybelle. (Parishioners may choose to park at HFC and carpool.)

Why: To make Christ known in the world (evangelization)

Who:  All Ages. Come as a family and serve our downtown community together alongside volunteers from other churches and organizations.
