Are all daily Masses in the chapel? Are any in the main church, looking specifically at June 2nd. Husband and I are coming to celebrate our 10th anniversary of being married in this church. Thank you!
Embrey
Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. All Daily Masses are typically in the Chapel unless it is a Holy Day of Obligation.
Am Njeri, am interested in joining you for Sunday masses. my question, is there a Sunday school for the children? if there is what time? thank you in advance
Our Religious Education classes for children meet in November on Sunday mornings at 8:50 a.m. Starting in December, they will be on Wednesday evenings. You’re very welcome to join.
Thank you & be blessed.
What times are Holy Family celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin this Saturday?
Holy Family will have one Mass at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. While it is a holy day, the obligation is dropped because it falls on a Saturday in 2015.
We offer Religious Education on Sunday mornings from 8:50 to 9:50 a.m.
I am coming from Wisconsin to Tulsa, OK for Easter 2015. What time are your Easter Sunday Masses.
Gloria Brockman
Hello Gloria,
Easter Sunday Masses are at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., Noon, and 5:00 p.m.
Here is a complete Holy Week schedule: http://holyfamilycathedralparish.com/parish/2015/03/holy-week-schedule-2015/
I was just wondering if Holy Family Cathedral does celebrate
mass at 7am Tuesday-Friday cause my job schedule just
changed and I saw on this page you offer mass at 7am, but
I was here last Tuesday at 7am and there was not mass…
Sorry about that. I’m not sure what happened.
Yes, Mass will be offered at 7:00 a.m. on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The exception will be during Holy Week, where there will NOT be Mass on Holy Thursday or Good Friday morning. There will also be no 8:00 a.m. Mass on the morning of Holy Saturday.
Does the cathedral have mass in Spanish?
No, the Cathedral does not have regular Masses in Spanish. Saint Francis Xavier is probably your best option. They have a number of Masses in Spanish: http://www.dioceseoftulsa.org/index.cfm?load=org&org=10
Mr.Malcolm, St. Thomas More also has numerous Masses on Sundays, Saturday and even some weekdays and evenings.
Will you be celebrating midnight mass this year? and is it a candlelight service?
Yes, Midnight Mass is at 12:00 a.m. While there will be candles lit, the electric lights will also be on.
Will Holy Family offer a latin mass this christmas season?
Yes and no. Yes, Bishop Slattery’s Masses at 10:00am on Sundays in Advent and at Mignight Mass will be celebrated ad orientam and will contain many parts in Latin. However, all of the Masses at the Cathedral will be ordinary form (or Novus Ordo), not the extraordinary form also known as the Traditional Latin Mass.
Hello Taylor. As a Catholic Church, Holy Family Cathedral teaches the same doctrine that all Catholic churches teach. While there are lots of resources on the web, you probably want to talk to a real person. Call the parish office, 918-582-6247, and ask to speak to a priest or deacon.
I was looking attending mass, and was wondering if i could have some information on the churche’s doctrine. I am not catholic, but was confirmed and baptized lutheran and have fell out of church for the last few years. I was much interested in the catholic doctrine.
thank you.
