Our parish’s celebration of the Centenary of the Dedication of our Church at 8th & Boulder would have pleased our predecessors. That was the hope. The Centennial Gala and Dinner is a formal celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Dedication of Holy Family Church. Special guests include: Most Rev. Edward J. Slattery, Most. Rev. Paul Coakley, Most Rev. Eusebius Beltran, and our current and previous priests. On January 5, 2014, the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord, Holy Family Cathedral will offer special Receptions following the 10:00 and 12:00 Sunday Masses. The occasion is the 20th Anniversary of the Episcopal Ordination of The Most Reverend Edward J. Slattery, Bishop of Tulsa.   World War II: The 1940s began with a great deal of worrying. Parishioners were concerned about the World War that was consuming Europe and threatening to reach into the United States.
